Yes, I buy into it...I am a retail whore

My father and I have a Thanksgiving tradition of kayaking on Beverly harbor before dinner. My mother and I shop on the Friday after. We are not doorbusters, but we purchase and we save money.
Best purchase of the day...black patent leather Dansko's. Unfortunately, K was going to buy me the same pair for my birthday.
Funniest-- Luxury Nail Care kit (yes, one of those dork-ass gifty boxes with polish and tools and whatnot) because I had a gift card and NOTHING in Lord and Taylor is under $25.

I also introduced my parents to the wonders of Ikea...my dad walked around saying things like "You couldn't even buy the wood to build that for less than $20" for a $16 table. It was so much fun.
